To finalize arrangements in view of ensuing Prime Minister’s visit to Chanderkote, Ramban to inaugurate the Stage II of 450MW Baglihar hydel project, Deputy Chief Minister, Dr. Nirmal Singh inspected the venue from where PM shall inaugurate the Project.
Dr. Singh also inspected the sites for the PM’s visit and directed all security officers to ease the entry of guests and local people.
After inspecting the venue, he convened a high level meeting with officers and legislators at Chanderkote, Ramban.
During the meeting, Commissioner Secretary, Power Development Department, Dheeraj Gupta briefed Dr. Singh about the arrangements including the finalization of list of dignitaries to receive PM at Helipad; arrangements at main entrance and podium; seating plan of dignitaries, guests, local people, officers and media persons; drinking water facility , make shift toilets, decoration of stage, medical facility, fire and tender services .
Dr. Singh also enquired about the expected gathering in the venue and directed all the concerned to galvanize their efforts and ensure all the guests/people are comfortably accommodated. He also issued instructions for installation of in additional PAS beside the podium.He also directed the officers of JKSPDC to mobilize all resources for making the stay of guests and visitors comfortable. MPs, Avinash Rai Khanna, Shamshser Singh Manhas, Legislators Sat Paul Sharma, Neelam Langeh, Commissioner / Secretary PDD, Mr Dheeraj Gupta, Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Dr. Pawan Kotwal,IGP Jammu and other senior officers were present in the meeting.
