Police used water canon to disperse the agitating Govt employees at Srinagar today. The daily wagers associated with various Govt. departments took to streets today to get their demands fulfilled. The demands include regularization of their services . As soon as the protesting employees started their march, the police used batons and water canon to disperse them. Some of the agitators were detained by police. Earlier taking to Media chairman Employees joint action committee Ab Qayoom wani said that the committee will back the employees till their demands are fulfilled.” These employees have put in their sweat while serving in various departments. Their services should be regularized without further delay “ Qayoom Told reporters. He said that EJAC fully supports their demand and threatened to intensify the stir if the regularization process of daily wagers isn’t started soon.
