Sub District Magistrate Zainapora, Shopian today suspended seven employees of Mechanical wing of PHE department who were found unauthorized absent from duty.
All officials have been placed under suspension with immediate effect.
Sub District Magistrate also instructed all officers and officials to adhere strictly to office timings and ensure punctuality in the Government offices.
Meanwhile, Sub District Magistrate Karnah in order to ensure punctuality in government offices, today conducted surprise inspection of various government offices. During inspection it was found that two employees of Block Development Office, Tangdar were unauthorizedly absent from duty. SDM directed for initiating action under rules against the absentees, besides seized official records for verification.
Later, the SDM also convened officers meeting and took stock of ongoing developmental works.
