Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the state, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Asgar Hassan Samoon today reviewed the arrangements at a high level meeting at his office in Srinagar.
The meeting was attended by Director General Information and Public Relations Zafar Ahmad Bhat, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Dr Farooq Ahmad Lone, Director Health Services Kashmir, Chief Engineers of R&B, PDD and PHE, Medical Superintendent SKIMS, Director Hospitality and Protocol, Joint Director Fire & Emergency Services, SP Headquarters and officials of Srinagar Municipal Committee.
Divisional Commissioners took stock of the arrangements for security, traffic management, sanitation, parking, drinking water, power supply and medical facilities.
The officers from various departments briefed about the arrangements put in place in connection with VVIP visit.
