An official Spokesman today clarified that the order (No. 814 of 2015/HME, Dated 19.12.2015) assigning charge of Principal Government Medical College, Srinagar to Prof. Dr. Kaiser Ahmed was issued after the request of the then Principal Dr. Rafiq Pampori seeking leave and subsequent voluntary retirement.
The spokesman further clarified that the said order was issued in the interest of administration and patient care.
