According to government sources, PDP-BJP government has decided to sack another set of tainted and non performing officials. Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Syeed has already given his final approval in this regard. Sources said that the high-level panel headed by the Chief Secretary Mohammad Iqbal Khanday has submitted the second list of corrupt officials to Chief Minister’s office in the last week of July.This time about 50 tainted officials including senior civil officers are likely to face actition.
On July 1, the government sacked 63 officials who were involved in corruption.
