Army paid tributes to soldiers

      Army today paid a befitting tribute with full military honours to the martyred soldiers Gnr Surendra, Sep Surinder Singh, LNk Botta Satyam and LNk Gurdev Singh who had laid down their lives while fighting the terrorists in Rajwar of Kupwara District yesterday.
        The valour and sacrifice of the Late soldiers was paid tribute in a solemn ceremony held at Badami Bagh Cantonment today.
        Late Gnr Surendra, Sep Surinder Singh, LNk Botta Satyam and LNk Gurdev Singh were members of the Army team that launched an operation yesterday in Haphruda forest of Rajwar in Kupwara District, in which they approached the suspected area where the terrorists were reportedly hiding and they came under a heavy volume of fire.
        The Chinar Corps Commander Lt Gen Satish Kumar Dua paid homage to the martyrs by laying a wreath on behalf of all Ranks of the Chinar Corps.  Floral tributes were also paid on behalf of the Northern Army Commander.
