Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar G.N Balwan today convened a meeting to finalise the arrangements for celebration of Urs Mubarak of Shah Farid-Ud-Din Sahib on June 20, 2016.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the officers of the concerned departments to ensure adequate drinking water and power supply, medical facilities, firewood, and transportation facility for the devotees. He also asked for making available proper parking space, security and fire extinguishers at the shrine.
The DC exhorted upon the officers of line departments to work in close coordination to put in place adequate arrangements for the Urs Mubarak.
SSP Kishtwar Sandeep Wazir, Assistant Commissioner, Revenue Khalid Hussain Malik, Chief Planning Officer, Dr.Yasir Balwan, Commanding Offcier CRPF, representatives of Auqaf Islamia besides officers from Health, PHE, PDD, CA&PD, KDA, Information department, R&B, Traffic, Sheep, Municipal and Fire services attend the meeting.
