Athar Aamir-ul-Shafi Khan of Mattan bags second position in IAS

Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti, on Tuesday congratulated Athar Aamir Ul Shafi Khan, a 23-year-old boy from Devipora, Mattan, in Anantnag district for having secured the second position in the prestigious IAS 2015 exams.

She also lauded the performance of all those who cracked the country’s premier civil services examination from the state.

Admiring Athar Khan for his amazing success, the Chief Minister said she is sure that his feat will inspire many other youngsters to follow suit.

“There is no dearth of talent in our state which Athar has proved today. Many congratulations for having successfully cleared the exams with flying colours and my best wishes as you start your journey to serve the people,” she said in her congratulatory message.

The Advisor to the Chief minister, Dr. Amitabh Matoo has felicitated the J&K youth who have qualified the Civil Services Examination (IAS) this year.

Dr Matto has also extended special greetings to Athar Aamir-ul-Shafi Khan of Devipora, Mattan, Anantnag for bagging second position in the prestigious examination.He said that it is a matter of great pride that  a size able number of students from Jammu and Kashmir have qualified the IAS examination this year also and hoped that the trend would continue by more youth qualifying this prestigious examination in coming years.
