The government on Thursday posted Baseer Ahmad Khan as new Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, replacing Asghar Samoon.
The decision, sources told Rising Kashmir was taken at the cabinet meeting held here and chaired by Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti.
Samoon has been posted as Commissioner/Secretary Transport department. Some more officers have been transferred and the details are awaited.
