Delegation of BJP-PDP leaders met Governor N N Vohra’s office on Saturday to present their claim for formation of government in the state. After months of negotiation and re-negotiation between the two political outfits, both were able to once again unite on the ‘Common Minimum Agenda’.

PDP’s leader of legislature party Mehbooba Mufti, along with BJP’s senior legislator Nirmal Singh were part of the delegation which reached the Raj Bhawan. Both the parties jointly presented their majority to rule the legislative assembly. PDP has a total of 27 MLAs in the 84 member house, whereas, the BJP has 25 MLAs. Their coalition comfortably crosses the majority figure of 43 seats
