Chrar-e-Sharief constituency to be developed on modern lines

Minister for Agriculture, Mr. Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura, Saturdaysaid that government under the leadership of Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed is committed for development in all three regions of the State. He said concerted efforts are being made to fulfill aspirations of the people, as the coalition government has initiated several developmental programmes in the State.

The Minister was addressing a gathering in his constituency, Chrar-e-Sharief.

All efforts are being put in to develop Chrar-e-Sharief constituency on modern lines, he said and added in this regard several developmental works have been taken up in the area. He said the government is also working towards further improvement and beautification of Ziarat Sharief Syed Alli Ali Balki (RA), Pakharpora besides providing better facilities for devotees.

Referring to various developmental works initiated by the government during last 6 months, Mr. Hanjura said that 5 New Type Primary Health Centers (NTPHC) and 3 Sub Centers have been opened in block Chrar-e-Sharief. While as in block Nowgam one NTPHC and two sub centers and in Chadoora block three NTPHC and four sub centers have been opened, he said. He further said that in the said constituency, construction work on various road projects is apace and macadamization of several roads has been completed.

The Minister said three community bore-wells under National Saffron Mission shall be established soon in Chrar-e-Sharief constituency at an estimated cost of Rs. 3.75 crore. 

Mr. Hanjura said that during past 6 months Rs.75 Lakh have been released under Constituency Development Fund for different developmental works, including transformers and improvement of HT/LT lines.

On the occasion, the locals placed various issues before the Minister including early sanction of IAY and old aged pension cases, backward area status to Zenpachal village, provision of medical and para-medical staff at PHC, Surisyar, completion of ongoing construction work at Government High School, Dadompora, construction of bridges at Chak-Surisyar and Shan Mohalla. 

Responding to the demands, Mr. Hanjura assured the people that all genuine issues shall be considered on priority.
