Chief Minister, Ms Mehbooba Mufti has condoled the demise of noted Kashmiri surgeon Prof Brij Mohan Bhan.
The Chief Minister in her condolence message, while expressing solidarity with the bereaved family, prayed for the eternal peace to the departed soul.
Ms Mehbooba said Dr Bhan never migrated from Kashmir and continued to live at his Karan Nagar residence here post-1990 and used to serve his people.
“Dr Bhan’s contribution to health sector in Jammu and Kashmir and in producing a generation of surgeons is laudable,” she said and added that as a doctor also Dr Bhan used to help the poor patients and is known for having a soothing touch.
