Chief Minister, Ms Mehbooba Mufti today extended warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the eve of ‘Kabir Jayanti’.
In her message, Ms Mehbooba said Saint Kabir is known as the torch-bearer of ‘Bhakti Movement’ who preached the oneness of God, love, peace and universal brotherhood.
The Chief Minister said Saint Kabir’s teachings should inspire the people to lead a life of purity, righteousness and contentment by following the path of divinity and morality and setting aside the differences on the basis of caste, creed and religion for the larger welfare of the humanity.
