In the meantime, authorities have decided to impose restrictions in all the police stations falling in old city of Srinagar and several other volatile parts of south Kashmir due to rising tensions following the death of Zahid Bhat of Batengoo, Khanabal, who was injured on intervening night of October 09/10 when hooligans attacked their truck with a petrol bomb in Udhampur.
Both factions of Hurriyat, JKLF and other separatist leaders include senior leader Shabir Shah have called for complete shutdown today against the death of Kashmiri trucker.
A senior government official told that fearing law and order problems following the death of Kashmiri Trucker, the authorities will impose restrictions in police stations include Khanyar, Nowhatta, Safakadal, Rainawari, M R Gunj, Kralkhud, Maisuma and Zadibal.
- Besides restrictions in Srinagar, curfew like restrictions will also be put in place in many volatile areas of south Kashmir, the official said.
