The administration has decided to impose curfew across the Valley on Sunday in view of the shutdown call given by the separatist leaders.
Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Dr Asgar Samoon said restrictions will be imposed across the Valley to thwart any possible protests against the civilian killings.
Terming the civilian killings as unfortunate, he said the forces have been asked to exercise maximum restraint and avoid civilian causalities.
“People should also avoid destroying public properties and should cooperate with administration to maintain peace in the Valley,” he said.
Samoon said he will review the situation on Sunday and Deputy Commissioners have been asked to monitor the situation in their respective districts.
“Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti is also monitoring the situation,” he said. (KNS)
