Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir reviewed overall law and order situation in the Valley in a meeting here today which was attended by Deputy Commissioners of various districts of Valley through video conference, Director, Health Services, Kashmir, Director, SKIMS, Soura, Principal Government Medical College & Hospital and Medical Superintendent SMHS, Srinagar.
The meeting was informed that injured have been providing treatment in District and associated Hospitals. He informed that the health institutions have adequate stock of medicines and medicos and para-medics have been working round-the-clock to provide better medicare to the injured in the hospitals. Five “Jan Aushadhi Stores” in Pulwama, Kulgam, Anantnag, Budgam and Kupwara are also functioning round-the-clock and providing medicines to general public on reasonable rates, he informed.
Assuring proper distribution of rations and essential commodities among consumers, Director, Consumer Affairs & Public Distribution, Kashmir informed that sufficient stock of essential commodities is available in valley. Traffic police authorities assured hassle-free movement of trucks carrying essentials commodities to Valley. Chief Engineers PDD and PHE also assured for ensuring uninterrupted power and water supply in all areas.
Divisional Commissioner and Deputy Commissioners reiterated their appeal to public for assisting civil Administration in restoring peace.
