Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon today convened a meeting of officers at Mini-Secretariat Ganderbal to review the progress of various Developmental projects being carried out in the District.
During the meeting several projects including District Hospital Ganderbal, Physical Education College, SSG Road, and Z-Morh Tunnel were threadbare discussed in the meeting.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Showkat Aijaz Bhat, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, besides Tehsildars and other officers of the District.
Divisional Commissioner directed the authorities of Central University Kashmir to expedite the work and complete the process in time bound manner.
Divisional Commissioner stressed upon the concerned officers to speed up the pace of work on all ongoing works/projects so that these are completed within the stipulated time.
Dr. Samoon also reviewed the status of removal of encroachments on Kahcharie and State land and directed all the Tehsildars to intensify the drive to free the State land from the encroachers. He also instructed officers to work with zeal and dedication and to follow the guidelines to bring transparency and accountability in the system so that common masses are benefited at large. He stressed for ensuring regularity and punctuality in government offices in order to develop work culture and timely disposal of public issues..
