Governor of Delhi by ” LIFE TIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD” in 10th International Conference and Exhibition FIRE INDIA 2015 at New Delhi recently for Excellent Contribution made towards Fire & Life Safety during long Distinguished Career of 36 years. The International Conference & Exhibition was attended by Delegates and Exhibitors from 28 Countries. Dr Bhat is Ph D.; Fellow Institution of Fire Engineers ( UK); Fellow Institution of Fire Engineers ( India); Fellow International Institute of Risk and Safety Management( UK); Fellow Institute of Civil Defence and Disaster Studies (UK); Fellow Institute of Civil Protection and Emergency
Management ( UK). Dr G A Bhat been Awarded earlier by President’s Fire Service Medal for Gallantry; Bar to President’s Fire Service Medal for Gallantry; President’s Fire Service Medal for Distinguished Services; Fire Service Medal for Meritorious Service; Bravery Award; Gold Medal Award and Rajiv Gandhi Excellence Award. He has worked as Chairman of various Committees of Standing Fire Advisory Council (SFAC), MHA, Govt of India. Member BIS and Chairman of Various Technical Sessions in number of National and International Conferences, exhibitions and Workshops.
