Encounter between militants and security forces has started in Malpora area of Kupwara district. According to police sources militants fired on security forces during a search operation. The joint team of security forces retaliated trigging exchange of fire in the area.One militant has been killed.He has been identified as Sameer Ahmad of Dooru Sopore.
