Lakes and Waterways Development Authority (LAWDA) through its Enforcement Wing today demolished six illegally raised structures in various parts of Srinagar.
Enforcement Officer of LAWDA said that structures were demolished at Teilbal, Hazratbal, Laam, Khayam Chowk and Brein Nishat.
He said that people residing within the LAWDA jurisdiction are directed not to go for any sort of illegal constructions and Tipper/Load carrier owners are asked not to carry any constructional material in the prohibited area of Dal/Nageen lakes without permission.
