Pehalwan Ishaq (Lalu) of Bajrangi Akhara Jammu Patha Dheeraj Coach lifted “55th Amar Nath Dangal 2016” title by defeating Wrestler Mohd. Nisar of Doda of J&K Police.
Dangal was organized by Amar Nath Maha Dangal Samiti in Association with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association and Mukti Youth Club at Subash Stadium Udhampur.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue Mr. Rajiv Magotra was the chief guest on the occasion, who distributed cash prizes among the winners and runner-up Wrestlers.
Joint Secretary J&K State Sports Council who is also Treasurer Indian Style Wrestling Association of India and Associate Vice-President Wrestling Federation of India presided over the function.
Advocate Swatanter Dev Kotwal and President Udhampur District Indian Style Wrestling Association Sunil Badyal were the guests of honour. Prominent persons present on the occasion included Virender Sharma, Vikram Salthia, Deepak Anand, Sarpanch Smt Ram Payari Ex. Sports officer Champa Devi, Om Parkash Verma and Satish Kumar.
