J&K Tourism showcases golf, MICE potential in Surat travel fair

Department of Tourism Jammu and Kashmir is participating in 3-day Travel Trade Fair in Surat which began today to tap high-end tourists.

The fair was inaugurated by the Gujarat Chief Minister who later visited the J&K stall. Officers of the J&K Tourism Department are representing the J&K along with the travel agents from the state especially Ladakh.

Visitors can interact with tour-operators, travel agents, hoteliers and airlines to gather information and make national and international travel plans. With thousands of the visitors participating in the fair, J&K is making every effort to promote state’s tourism potential especially golf and MICE tourism.

The J&K’s tourism department has kept good and comprehensive publicity material available at it stall in the exhibition which showcases all the tourism products especially off-beat destinations besides golf circuit.

Special brochures were also available on the different trekking routes in the J&K especially in Kashmir and Ladakh.

The travel agents from Ladakh also showcased their tourism potential of the Ladakh and its festivals.

Many visitors turned up at the J&K stall and made their wish to visit Kashmir which, they said, is their dream destination.

The TTF Travel & Tourism Fair began today and will end on Sunday, September 11, 2016.
