Kashmir University campus turned into a battle field today when big Kashmir Marathon turned violent.Hundreds of students and children had assembled at the venue and PHE minister was also present when some people started shouting sligans and pelted stimes and bottled towatds the podium.PHE minister fled from the scene and there was a chaotic situation.
The twenty-one-kilometre marathon was to begin from Naseem Bagh at Kashmir University and go along the scenic Dal Lake.Youth shouted slogans and pelted stones on the forces guarding the venue in the varsity. The marathon has been turned into a disaster, Pakistan flags were also raised at the venue. Reacting to the violent acts President PDP, mehbooba Mufti while condemning the act by some elements said that action will be taken against the people responsible for disturbing the event.
