Minister for Transport, Abdul Ghani kohli today visited village Garan of Kalakote constituency in District, Rajouri.
Large number of people met the Minister and apprised him about various demands and sought his intervention.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Kohli reiterated his commitment to ensure holistic development of the area and said that various development works are underway in the constituency.
Responding to demands highlighted by the public regarding adequate teaching staff, road connectivity, water supply etc the Minister issued on spot instructions to the concerned to address these at the earliest. The Minister also issued directions to improve healthcare availability in PHC Garan.
Mr. Kohli also took stock of various developmental works being executed in Kalakote constituency.
The Minister also distributed solar lights among 50 beneficiaries of Garan village under Remote Village Electrification scheme of JAKEDA.
Meanwhile, various deputations also met the Minister and brought several issues to his notice. The Minister gave patient hearing to the deputationists and assured them that all genuine demands will be fulfilled in phased manner.
ADDC, Rajouri, Avtar Singh Chib besides sectoral officers accompanied the Minister during his visit.
