In view of the forthcoming 5th Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council elections to be held next month, Deputy Commissioner Leh, Mr. Prasana Ramaswamy G who is also the Election Authority LAHDC Leh chaired an important meeting of the Returning Officers and Assistant Returning Officers of the 26 constituencies of LAHDC Leh.
Later, Additional Deputy Commissioner Leh RK Badyal who is also the Election Officer LAHDC Leh imparted election training to the ROs and AROs. Mr. Badyal while giving a detailed account of the basics of the election during the training directed them to conduct all the formalities with care like prior physical verification of the polling stations especially in the wake of recent floods in the district, to observe special care while dealing with filing of forms, names and other formalities. He further directed them to contact control room for any election related queries, if any.
