The Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara today convened an officers meeting to review the arrangements for celebration of Mela Kheer bhawani at Tikker Asthapan in Kupwara.
Officials of Police, Health, Fire & Emergency Services, CA&PD, Transport, Revenue and other concerned departments attended the meeting.
The officials were directed to make necessary arrangements of uninterrupted power supply, drinking water supply, transport, security, fire tender, ration, besides ensuring road repairs and medical facilities at the shrine site from June 09 to 12, 2016.
The Deputy Commissioner asked the officers to provide all basic facilities to visiting devotees at the Asthapan.
