Dy CM, Bukhari visit Baramulla, express sympathy with slain lady’s family

Deputy Chief Minister, Dr. Nirmal Singh alongwith Minister for Law, Justice, Parliamentary Affairs and Rehabilitation, Syed Basharat Bukhari today visited the residence of the sikh lady at Kanlibagh, Baramulla, who was murdered mysteriously some days back.

Interacting with the family members, the Deputy Chief Minister assured them that government has already passed necessary instructions to the concerned to carry out investigations into the matter on fast track basis so that persons responsible for the heinous crime would be brought to book.

Syed Basharat Bukhari also assured the family members of the speedy probe in the matter and said that the action is the handiwork of some vested interests who are trying to disturb the peaceful atmosphere in the town but they will not be allowed to succeed in their nefarious designs.

The Ministers were informed that a Special Investigation Team has already been constituted and the investigations are being conducted on fast track basis.
