Five persons have been arrested in south Kashmir in connection with the militant attack at Narsoo Udhampur. The arrested persons are: Javed Parrey (truck driver who allegedly ferried the militants to Narsoo), Altaf Wani (sales man By profession), Fayaz Wani and Javed Wani (carpenters by profession).These persons were arrested from Charsoo awantipora area of Pulwama district today. Another person namely Abdual Rehman Yatoo of Khudwani village of Kulgam district too has been detained. He is the father of one of the main accused namely Fayaz Ahmed Yatoo who allegedly gave shelter to the militants.Fayaz is absconding. The arrests were made on the inputs given by the arrested militant Naveed @ Usman . Naved was brought to Kashmir last evening and was taken many places which he said he had visited before carrying the attack. Police sources say that more arrests are expected in the case. Notably a team of NIA is camping in Kashmir and is working jointly with J&K police to crack the case.
