Acting on a specific information that one notorious criminal namely Yudhvir Singh @ Bablu S/O Aaya Singh R/O Agrachak, R.S.Pura Jammu alongwith loaded pistol is roaming in Vijaypur town and planning to execute murder of one of his rival group member in a Swift Car having tinted glasses and without registration number. Accordingly, Police Party headed by Shri S. S. Sambyal, SDPO Vijaypur and Inspector Rajeshwar Singh, SHO P/S Vijaypur immediately swung into action and raided the place where the said criminal was planning to execute his plan, succeeded in arresting the said accused and recovered one country made pistol with five live rounds of 7.65 mm. The swift tinted glasses Desire Swift Car which was used by the said criminal was also seized. The accused turned to be a notorious criminal and was involved in over dozen heinous criminal cases in various Police Stations of District Samba and District Jammu. On interrogation, the accused disclosed that he alongwith one of his associate was planning to murder one Babbar of Chak Mohammed Yar, R. S Pura who is arch rival. By timely action by Vijaypur police, the murder plan was foiled and accused was arrested alongwith weapon. A Case FIR No. 63/2015 u/s 3/25 Arms Act has been registered in Police Station Vijaypur. Notably, a few days back, SHO P/S Vijaypur under the Supervision of SDPO Vijaypur also arrested 02 hardcore criminals from Vijaypur namely Raghubir Singh @ Dana S/O Parshotam Singh R/O Chorli Bishnah and Raj Kumar @ Raj S/O Balbir Singh R/o Dega R. S. Pura who were wanted in number of criminal cases of heinous nature in various Police Stations of District Samba and District Jammu including recently registered Case FIR No. 47/2015 u/s 307/382/341/147 RPC, 3/25, 4/25 Arms Act of P/S Vijaypur and recovered Katta & sharp edged Kirch from their possession respectively.
