After statements and counter statements by Pakistani NSA Sartaj Aziz and Indian MEA Sushma Swaraj, talks between NSA’S of India and Pakistan are finally cancelled.However neither side directly said that talks have been called off.Pakistan was adamant to include Kashmir in the agenda and also have meeting with Kashmiri separatist leaders ahead of talks.India said that Pakistan’s back tracking from the agenda is violation of the UFA declaration agreed by the two prime ministers last month. India also said that it won’t allow separatist leaders to meet Pakistani NSA.
