The DC directed the officers to ensure that people will have power supply as per the schedule. He directed the SMC officials to install additional dewatering pumps to drain out logged rain water from the city streets so that people do not face any problem.
While directing the SMC officials to clear the drains, the DC appealed the people to avoid the use of banned polythene as it leads to the chocking of drains which results in water-logging.
