ETV Urdu , a leading satellite channel on Wednesday did an online opinion poll on government formation in J&K. This unique online opinion poll was done on facebook page of ETV with the following options:
1.Whether Mehbooba Mufti should take oath immediately as Chief Minister continuing the present PDP-BJP alliance?
2.Or Mehbooba should go for alternate alliance?
3.Or Assembly should be dissolved and fresh elections should be conducted.
This online opinion poll was opened for public from first February and the result of the survey was announced on 3rd Feb. Total 13000 people participated in the poll.
53 percent voted for option one, 10 percent for option two and 37 percent for option three thus concluding that majority of the people want Mehbooba Mufti to take the reins of Govt with existing BJP-PDP alliance.
