Police has solved a rape case within a day and all sections of the society have appreciated the role of police force. Giving details of the case, police has issued a statement that on 29th July 2021, Police Station Uri received a written complaint from one Shabir Hussain S/O Noor Haider Shah resident of Madiyan Kamalkote area of Uri stating therein that his minor daughter (name withheld) aged about 13 years was raped by one Imtiyaz Ahmad Khan alias Muna Khan S/O Mohammad Saleem resident of Paranpeelan Uri in forest area after giving life threat to her. On this written complaint, FIR was registered in Police Station Uri under relevant sections of law. Police Station Uri utilizing all technical and human sources and with strenuous efforts traced the accused and arrested him instantly. Further investigation of the case is in progress.
