Police officials in Kashmir say they have arrested another missing youth who was suspected to have run away with a policeman who decamped with four guns.
Sources said that police arrested Aqib Dar and recovered one rifle from him.
Dar from Shopain district’s Kundalan was arrested by police and army in a joint operation.
He tried to escape but we arrested him, an official said confirming Dar’s arrest.
Official further said that Shakoor Ahmad, the constable who decamped with guns, and his friends Aqib Ahmad Dar were missing while another friend was arrested two days ago.
An alert has been issued in south Kashmir area to trace the policeman.
