Power shutdown in Jammu

Power shutdown

In order to carry out balance work of bus stringing and Jumpering termination with ACSR Zebra conductor in both existing and additional Bays at 33/11 KV Sub-Station Burmal to be carried out by M/s IRCON International Ltd the power supply of 33 KV Jourian line emanating from 132/33 KV Grid Station Akhnoor will remain on 2nd March, 2016from 12:00 Noon to 06:00 PM. The areas to be affected during the shutdown period are Burmal, Devipur, Rakh Muthi, Sohal Bhalwal, Jourian, Sohal, Rakh Malal and Essential 11 KV feeders of BSF, MES and PHE.

Similarly, in order to take overhead stringing work of crossing of 400 KV D/C Jalandhar-Samba Transmission line at Span AP 80/0-81/0 by M/s NRSS XXIX Transmission Limited, the power will remain shut down on the 220 KV D/C Bishnah–Hiranagar Transmission Line on 02-03-2016 and 04-03-2016 from 08:00 AMto 05:00 PM. Therefore, the power supply to the areas fed from 33/11 KV Receiving Station Chak Hasla, Bishnah, Nandpur, Ramgarh, Suhagpur, Salehar and Chak Shera will be affected.

Meanwhile, the power supply to 33/11 KV Sub-Station Transport Nagar (G-7 line) will remain affected on 02-03-2016 from 10 AM to 4 PM to Transport Nagar and its adjoining areas in order to carry works regarding Interconnection of 11 KV Panels, testing and commissioning of additional bay transformer and equipments out by M/s IRCON International Ltd.

Similarly,  the power supply to 33/11 KV Sub-Station Babliana (33KV GG-3 feeder) will remain affected on 03-03-2016from 10 AM to 2 PM  to Babliana, Jeevan Nagar & its adjoining areas in order to carry works regarding Shifting of 33 KV control panel of new location and its interconnection by M/s IRCON International Ltd.

Also, the power supply along 33/11 KV Sub-Station Babliana (33KV GG-3 feeder) will remain affected on 05-03-2016from 10 AM to 4 PM  to Babliana, Jeevan Nagar & its adjoining areas in order to carry works regarding Interconnection of 11 KV Panels, testing and commissioning of additional bay transformer and equipments by M/s IRCON International Ltd.
