Power shutdown in Jammu due to repair works

To carry out works for erection, testing and  commissioning of 132 KV SF-6 Circuit Breaker at Grid Station Hiranagar, repair works of 220 KV Circuit Breakers at Grid Station Bishnah and to carry out maintenance works on 220 KV Hiranagar-Bishnah Transmission Line, the shutdown of 320 MVA, 220/132/66 KV Grid Station Hiranagar is allowed.

During the shutdown, the power supply to Kathua, Hiranagar, Samba, Bishnah, Billawar, Mahanpur, Suhagpur, Nandpur and adjoining areas shall remain affected on October 16 from 7 am to 1 pm.

Similarly, to carry out works by M/s IRCON International Ltd under R-APDRP scheme, the shutdown of 11 KV JDA-5 feeder emanating from Receiving Station JDA is allowed.

During the shutdown, the power supply to Trikuta Nagar area shall remain affected on October 14 from 7 am to 11 am.

Meanwhile, to carry out emergent repair and maintenance of 33 KV G-10 line by Executive Engineer, Sub-Transmission Division-II, Jammu, the shutdown of 33 KV G-7, G-3 and G-2 lines emanating from Grid Station Gladni is allowed.

During the shutdown, the power supply to Transport Nagar, Fruit Mandi Complex, Narwal, Bathindi, Railway Colony, Sunjwan and its adjoining areas shall remain affected on October 14 and 16 from 9 am to 12 noon.

The power supply shall also remain affected to Gandhi Nagar, Bahu Plaza, Part of Trikuta Nagar, Jammu University, Divisional Commissioner Office, Bikram Chowk and its adjoining areas on October 16 from 12 noon to 2 pm.

Similarly, the power supply to Nanak Nagar, Shastri Nagar, Part of Gandhi Nagar and its adjoining areas shall also remain affected on October 16 from 1 pm to 3 pm and to Gladni Complex on October 16 from 12 noon to 3 pm.
