Advisor to Chief Minister, Prof. Amitabh Mattoo today conducted an extensive tour of various health institutions of Srinagar city and took stock of healthcare facilities being provided to injured there.
Chairing a joint meeting of Director SKIMS, Soura and Principal, Government Medical College and Hospital, Bemina, Prof. Mattoo called upon them for providing all requisite healthcare facilities to the injured for their early recovery.
Reviewing the availability of life saving drugs, surgical and other appliances in the hospitals, the Advisor directed the concerned for immediately projecting the demands with regard to medicines so that these could be supplied without wasting any time for the benefit of the patients.
The meeting was informed that there is adequate stock of medicines and other necessary equipments in the hospitals to meet any further requirements.
Later, Prof. Mattoo visited various areas of Srinagar city and took on-the–spot review of the situation. He interacted with the locals and assured that the government has initiated various measures for ensuring availability of essential commodities.
Interacting with the yatries at Durga Nag temple, Prof. Mattoo assured them of all possible help from the government.
