Prof. Rattan Lal Hangloo appointed as the vice-chancellor of Allahabad university

Prof. Rattan Lal Hangloo, Vice Chancellor, University of Kalyani, West Bengal has been appointed by the president as the vice-chancellor of Allahabad university. Professor Hangloo is known as great administrator and renowned Historian. Recently he was presented with the 23rd Dewang Mehta Business School Awards for Outstanding Contribution to Education and Best Vice Chancellor of the country in Mumbai. The Dewang Mehta Awards recognize talent and leadership amongst the Educational Institutes across India. . The Dewang Mehta Foundation (DMFT) was created to fulfill the dreams of Mr. Dewang Mehta the former President of NASSCOM, to engender an IT literate India. DMFT supports activities that help narrow the digital divide and take the benefits of IT down to the masses of the country. The Dewang Mehta Business School Award is in recognition of leadership, development, innovation and industry interface of the University of Kalyani.

Prof. Rattan Lal Hangloo, Vice Chancellor, University of Kalyani, West Bengal, has also been honoured by Harvard University recently. They have selected him as the Member of Election Analysis Team of the Harvard University. As Vice Chancellor of University of Kalyani, Prof. Rattan Lal Hangloo is trying to build a strong India by boosting scientific education among the underprivileged people of the region that are economically and socially backward in the districts of Nadia and Murshidabad.
