According to the Commissioner, Secretary, School Education Department, the Government had decided to extend the vacations in the winter zone of the State by one week in view of the prevailing circumstances, apprehensions of untoward incidents and for ensuring the safety and security of the students. The schools will now re-open on 25th of July, 2016.
According to the Director Colleges J&K, the summer vacation in all the Government Degree Colleges of Kashmir division as well as Jammu division has been extended and these colleges shall now reopen on 25 July 2016.
