To shortlist and select the players for upcoming Ranji Trophy season, an open choice trial camp got underway at Mayank Goswami Cricket Academy, here yesterday.
around 25 players attended the Camp on first day, who have been bestowed teaching suggestions by Ashwani Gupta, former Duleep Trophy and Ranji Trophy participant, who was assisted by Shashi Kumar, one other Ranji Trophy participant.
After the open trials, the selectors will decide 15 probables from Jammu, who might be joined by equal variety of their counterparts from Kashmir for the ultimate choice.
The Ranji Trophy matches are scheduled to be held from October 1, 2015.
