To educate the unemployed youth of the district about varous Skill Development Schemes, a Skill Development awareness seminar on Traditional Craft Courses was organized by the department of Technical Education at Government Industrial Training Institute Poonch today.
Director Technical Education, Shabnum Shah Kamili said that under Traditional Craft Course – Phulkari Arts, trainees shall be provided financial assistance up to Rs. 2000 per month to meet their transport expense. The trainees shall also be taken to different locations for training on Government expenses and after successful completion of training courses they shall be awarded with certificates by the State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT), she further added.
Among others, Deputy Director Technical Education, Jammu, Rajindra Kumar Gupta, Superintendents ITI, Mushtaq Ahmed and Niyaz Ahmed besides renowned sculptor, resource persons experts in Phulkari Arts were present on the occasion.
