Service to Man is Service to God: Ganga

Minister for Industries & Commerce Chander Prakash Ganga, today, inaugurated various developmental works at village Smailpur in Bari Brahmana Block coming up at an estimated cost of Rs 8.20 lakh. Out of this amount, Rs 1.50 lakh will be utilised out of CDF while remaining funds would be met from MNREGA.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Ganga said that during the short tenure of the PDP-BJP coalition govt a perceptible change is being seen by the people at ground level. He said checking of corrupt practices and prevailing of transparency has been given priority by present dispensation aimed to give corruption free administration to the people as promised earlier. He said political interference in allotment or works resorted by the previous regime has been stopped and now all the works are allotted through a proper procedure.

The Minister directed the concerned to expedite works to ensure  that these are completed within the stipulated time. He said the coalition formation is committed to create better basic facilities for the people in every nook and corner of the State under a well-knit development programme,  adding that the promises of equitable development of all the regions and sub regions made during the elections are now being fulfilled by the coalition partner.

Later, the Minister inaugurated Heart Check-up camp and appreciated the efforts of the organizers for  holding the camp. He said regular health check-ups are must for maintaining good health and sound body.

Dr Sushil Sharma, HoD, Cardiology, GMC informed the Minister that around 100 persons have registered for check up and free medicine are provided to the patients.

BDO Bari Brahmna Aijaz Qaiser and other concerned officers were present on the occasion.
