Siachen avalanche survivor Lance Naik Hanamanthappa passes away due to multiple organ failure.He continued to be extremely critical with worsening multiple organ dysfunction. His circulatory shock was now refractory to all drugs in maximum permissible doses and his kidneys were non-functional. His pneumonia worsened and the blood clotting disorder showed no sign of reversal despite blood component support. He was on maximal life support with aggressive ventilation and dialysis. He slipped into a deeper state of coma and passed away.
