SKCS holds one day Urdu conference in Anantnag

South Kashmir Civil Society (SKCS) holds one day urdu conference in Dakbangloo Anantnag attended by various scholars, artists, linguistics and historian. The conference was thrown open by District Development Commissioner Anantnag Dr syed Abid Rashid Shah. The Chief guest of the conference was Prof. A. G. Madhoosh a renowned educational psychologist, while as the conference was presided over by well known historian and poet Prof. G. M. Shad . Five papers were presented in the conference which include papers of Mohammad Shafi Khan, Dr. Mohammad Shafi Ayaz, Abdul Majeed Mir, Atta Mohammad Mir, Dr Hasrat Hussain. Three books were also released an this occasion, which include book of Dr Hasrat Hussain  khwab teh khayaal, the last leap of Dr. Saed Khan, and book titled Mahparan Gulaalan Manz by Abdul Ahad Wahid and shaam honay lagi by Dr. Mohammad Shafi Ayaz. While speaking on the occasion Deputy Commissioner Anantnag Dr syed Abid Rashid Shah said that in the capacity of DDC Anantnag he will utilize the meant resources for the sustainable development of Urdu language which is the vehicle of connect between three divisions. Bashir Dada, well known artist enthralled the audience by his poem. Other poets which also  read their poetic work include Iqbal Shaheed, Dr Hasrat, and Munshoor Banhali. The toppers of Government schools in 10 th and 12th were also felicitated on the conference.
