Three militants have been killed in an encounter between militants and security forces in Mamzimpara village in Shopian district. Security forces had coordoned off the area after getting a specific information about presence of militants. It was a joint operation of Army and Police.
Three killed militants, identified as Irshad Ahmad, Adil Khanday and Bilal Ahmad Bhat are residents of Maldaira, Imam Sahib and Kareemabad Pulwama respectively.
