Various deputations and representatives of NGOs called on Dr (Professor) Nirmal Gupta, Chairperson J&K State Social Welfare Board today. The deputations included representative of Kasturba Gandhi National Memorial Trust, Ms. Tara Behl, a 92 year old social worker from Punjab and President All J&K Christian Association, RR Bhatti.
Dr Gupta assured that the issues projected, will be looked into and appropriate action taken by the Board for the upliftment of the weaker sections of the society.
