Ved Mandir students to be brought under PM’s Beema Yojna

In order to spread Vedic teachings and Vedic culture to bring the much needed spiritual and moral transformation in society, Ved Mandir Committee (VMC) Jammu, today organized a Ved Amrit Pravah (Nectrine Vedic Discourse Series) in Jammu.

Minister of State (MOS) in Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) Dr. Jitendra Singh was the Chief Guest on the occasion.

While appreciating the steps taken by Ved Mandir Committee to spread the Vedic teachings, the Minister said life should be based on truthfulness and righteousness to bring peace and prosperity in the society.

Dr. Jitendra also assured all possible support to make the initiative a success and announced that all the children putting up in Ved Mandir Bal Nakitan and Balika Nakitan shall be brought under the Prime Ministers Beema Yojna which will provide them mental and economic security in future.

Dr. Jitendra instructed the managing body to submit a detailed proposal for the development of Ved Mandir Complex on modern lines. He assured that the central government shall provide all assistance to the management as it has been serving the people since decades and is playing vital role for the welfare of the children.

   The function was presided over by Ex-Principal, Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan (deemed University) Prof Vishwa Murti whileas Dr. Gautam Mengi, President Ved Mandir Committee presented the welcome address and the Secretary Sh. Sudesh Paul presented vote of thanks.

Other prominent among those present were Brig. Suchet Singh, Prof. Chander Mouli Raina, Sh.Amar Chand Gupta, R.C.Gupta, Capt Prashotam Sharma, Bal Krishan Gupta, K.K.Mengi and Prasad Raina besides a large number of students and senior citizens.
