PDP President and MP Mehbooba Mufti cancelled her three day visit to Chenab Valley due to heavy rains.
Mehobba who had reached Patnitop last night left back to Srinagar as weather forced her to cancel her visit to the mountanious region.
Sources said that after discussing the situation with MLC Firdous Tak and Party General Secretary Mehboob Iqbal, Mehbooba decided to postpone the visit.
Party sources said that a new schedule for her visit will be announced after improvement in weather. She was to start membership drive of her party from today.
