A 35-year-old pregnant woman died last night outside Lal Ded hospital in Srinagar after she was operated upon allegedly by nurses at District Hospital Baramulla.
The deceased woman was identified as Shameema Begum, wife of Sajad Ahmad, a resident of Halarpeerniyan in Boniyar tehsil of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Begum, according to her relatives, was admitted at the hospital on May 2 after she developed labour pain.
